Type of Fabric: Beautiful jacquard drapery fabric in a floral pattern. There are variations in weave typical of a true jacquard including the use of a straight stitch, satin stitch and more; however, the pattern is printed not woven in. The variation in weave can better be seen on the reverse side of the fabric. It is a solid cream color with a beautiful tone-on-tone pattern formed by the variety of weaves.
Width: 56" wide including 1/2" selveges on both sides.
Pattern Repeat: 23½" vertical (running with the selvege) and 26½" horizontal (across the width of the fabric).
Color/Pattern: Beautiful floral pattern that resembles gold and plum roses and plum hydrangea-like flowers. The roses are a true yellow gold. The plum roses and hydrangeas lean more toward red than toward purple -- I would probably call it closer to red mulberry. The flowers have pale olive green leaves. The background has a "mottled" varigated appearance in creamy gold and light taupe. This is absolutely lovely, first-quality fabric.

Weight Midweight - about 9 oz. per square yard - suitable for either drapery or upholstery. Drapes nicely but probably should not be gathered tightly. Soft hand with some body.
Fire retardant - meets Fire Code 302 (an automotive standard).
Uses: Makes beautiful draperies, curtains and valances. Ideal for light to medium upholstery projects.
