Black Floral Embroidered Taffeta

Specifics:

  • $7.49/yd
  • The embroidered flowers and swirling "vines" are the same shade as the ground of the fabric.
  • 58" wide - embroidery covers 54" of the width.
  • Drapes well but with a fairly crisp hand and the “rustling” sound typical of taffeta.
  • Plain (square) weave with sheen.
  • Floral Pattern (small flowers on swirling vines) is embroidered on the taffeta in thread the same color as the taffeta.
  • Repeats: Horizontal 6 3/4"; Vertical 5 5/8".
  • Opaque: although it does not block all light, it blocks most light – in general, you cannot see shapes/shadows through the fabric.
  • 50% polyester, 50% nylon -- dry cleaning recommended by manufacturer but you may machine wash on cold, gentle and tumble dry on medium.
  • Nice weight - about 3.3 oz. per square yard.
  • Beautiful alternative to silk drapery fabrics.
