    Beautiful polyester taffeta fabric with a fairly heavy weight and nice hand. This fabric is 100% polyester. It has a plain weave (square weave). It has the sheen and luster of silk taffetas but the ease of care and durability of polyester. The fabric has a fairly crisp hand but still drapes beauifully - has the "wishing" or "rustling" sound typical of taffeta. The weight of the fabric is perfect for dresses, draperies, window treatments, costumes and many other uses. It is about 3.3 oz. per square (not running) yard.

    Color: This is a true black. Very formal in appearance. Great for a formal or semi-formal look. The crayon is Crayola's black.
