Chambray Blue Ombre Upholstery Fabric

Specifics:

Type of Fabric: Heavyweight upholstery fabric with a lightly rubberized (latex) backing for added durability. Fiber content is 100% Polyester.
Pattern/Color: Triton - Chambray. Ombre-like shading in medium blue leaning green. The crayons are Crayola's "Robin's Egg Blue" and "Wild Blue Yonder". The overall color of the fabric is less intense than the Robin's Egg Blue crayon and a little less green but if you color with the crayon, the resulting color is close to the shade of the fabric. The fabric is a little more blue and a little less gray than the Wild Blue Yonder crayon. The subtle shading in the fabric tends to range between the two crayons.
Width: 59" including 1/2" selvages on either side. As you look at the photo, the selvages are to your right and left
Durability/Weight: Is a heavyweight upholstery fabric (about 16 oz. per square yard). Protective finish. Rubberized back. Should provide excellent durability and long wear.
Care: Regular vacuuming is recommended for all upholstery and drapery fabrics. To clean a spill, first blot dry as soon as possible. Professional cleaning is recommended. If you use one of the commercially available upholstery cleaners, try to use as little water as possible. Water usually disperses the stain and makes removal more difficult. The end result of a test-washing of a piece of this fabric (medium, dried on medium) was that it looked good after washing but it did fray significantly on the cut edges (about 5% or so) and washing/drying removes the latex backing and the soil-resistant finish - so it is not recommended.
