  • 59 inches wide
  • Beautiful polyester taffeta fabric with a fairly heavy weight and nice hand. This fabric is 50% polyester and 50% nylon. It has a plain weave (square weave). It has the sheen and luster of silk taffetas but the ease of care and durability of polyester. The fabric has a fairly crisp hand but still drapes beautifully - has the "whishing" or "rustling" sound typical of taffeta. The weight of the fabric is perfect for dresses, draperies, window treatments, costumes and many other uses. It is about 3 oz. per square (not running) yard.
  • Deep Sapphire Blue. Striking deep sapphire blue - a little more blue than a true navy. This is an iridescent taffeta - it has horizontal threads in royal blue and vertical threads in a dark blue or black.
  • It is a gorgeous jewel tone that shifts and comes to life in the light.
