Specifics:

Type of Fabric: Very nice first-quality tapestry (pattern is woven in, not printed on) upholstery fabric. Tightly Woven from a medium fine yarn with a slightly fuzzy feel; however, fabric is not plush and soft like cut velvet. Feel is harder and should be very durable. Lines across the fabric form little "ridges" -- has a nice feel and adds a little texture to the fabric. The original suggested retail price on this fabric was $30.55/yard -- excellent quality fabric.
Pattern/Color: Dice-Smoke. It is a pattern of varying size squares -- some side-by-side, some overlapping, some on top of others. The pattern is woven in and is in earthtones - light and dark gray, light taupe, dark brown, gold. Overall impression is a grayish-brown but there are nice color variations within the pattern. Crayons are "tumbleweed" and "gray" from a box of 96 Crayolas.
Finish: Protective finish (Scotchgard or similar).
Backing: Has a lightly rubberized (latex) backing for added wear and durability.
Weight: Mid to Heavyweight tapestry upholstery - about 14 oz. per square (not running) yard.
Hand: Firm hand.
Width: 57 inches wide (55" useable plus 1/2" selveges on both sides). As you look at photo, selveges are to your right and left.
Pattern Repeat: 27" vertical; 14" horizontal.
Fiber Content: 42% poly, 28% acrylic; 24% cotton; 6% polypro.
