Specifics:

  • Type of Fabric: Very nice 1st quality light to midweight herculon-type upholstery fabric with a lightly rubberized back. This is not stiff or scratchy like older herculon types -- this is very pliable and has a nice soft feel.
  • Pattern/Color: The name of the pattern is "Fairlane-Mauve". Cannot figure out the "mauve" part -- none of us can see the 'mauve'. The color is a blend of medium and dark brown over a grayish taupe color. Very nice blend of browns. The crayon in the photo is "brown" from a box of 96 Crayolas. Pattern would be great for disguising spots and stains!
  • Width: 57 inches wide (55 inches usable plus 1 inch selvages on each side). As you look at photo, selvages are to your right and left.
  • Durability/Weight: Light to mid-weight jacquard upholstery fabric (about 10 oz./square yard) with a rubberized back. Should provide good wear for a number of years. Variations in color will help disguise spots and stains. Has a protective finish (either Scotchguard or similar).
