Gray Swirl Embroidered Taffeta

Specifics:

  • $7.49/yd
  • This fabric is a beautiful shade of dark gray similar to the color of metal. The fabric is darker than the crayon and has fine black threads that add depth and iridescence to the color.
  • 58" wide - embroidery covers 54" of the width.
  • Drapes well but with a fairly crisp hand and the “rustling” sound typical of taffeta.
  • Plain (square) weave with sheen.
  • Swirl Pattern (like leaves) is embroidered on the taffeta in thread the same color as the taffeta - very, very pretty.
  • Opaque: although it does not block all light, it blocks most light – in general, you cannot see shapes/shadows through the fabric.
  • 50% polyester, 50% nylon -- dry cleaning recommended by manufacturer but you may machine wash on cold, gentle and tumble dry on medium.
  • Nice weight - about 3.3 oz. per square yard.
  • Beautiful alternative to silk drapery fabrics
