Type of Fabric: Beautiful Light to Mid-weight Tapestry Upholstery Fabric woven from fine, smooth yarns in a tight weave. This has a smooth, somewhat "hard" finish which will wear very well -- it does not have a "knitting yarn" texture like some tapestries. This is a truly 1st quality upholstery fabric -- Manufacturer's original suggested retail price was $26.05/yard.
Pattern/Color: Hillington Azaleas. Features an abstract pattern of azaleas in blue surrounded by areas of ivory, light peachy-yellow, olive green and more shades. The predominant blue leans toward periwinkle. A very soft palette that makes one think of an Impressionist painting. The fabric is not woven from thick, knitting-type yarn but from thinner smooth yarn (probably rayon, nylon).
Finish: Protective finish (Scotchgard or similar). Rubberized (latex) back. Meets Fire Code 302 (flame retardant). Should provide excellent durability and long wear.
Weight: Mid-weight tapestry upholstery fabric - about 10 oz. per square (not running yard).
Hand: Firm hand but is supple and has good flexibility.
Width: 57 1/2" wide. (56" wide including 1/2" selveges on either side). As you look at photo, selveges are to your right and left.
Pattern Repeat: 27" vertical; 28½" horizontal
