Specifics:

Type of Fabric: Beautiful Mid-weight Tapestry Upholstery Fabric woven from fine, smooth yarns in a tight weave -- has almost a "quilted" feel. This does not have the heavy knitting yarn like feel of some tapestries -- the yarn is much smoother and finer.
Pattern/Color: Matisse-Bluestone. It features roses in shades of light and dark blue, cream and sage against an interesting ground in the same shades. The ground reminds one of a "patchwork" quilt - there are squares in different colors and pattern (swirls, fleur-de-lis like, more). All are in the same soft palette of blues, blue-grays, sage green and ivory. The Crayons are "timberwolf", "cadet blue" and "olive green" from a box of 96 Crayolas -- all are really too intense for the fabric -- the fabric has a softer, more pastel appearance. The roses run both "up" and "down" parallel to the selvage.
Finish: Protective finish (Scotchgard or similar). Rubberized (latex) back. Should provide good durability and wear.
Weight: Mid-weight tapestry upholstery fabric - about 10 1/2 oz. per square (not running yard).
Hand: Firm hand but is supple and has good flexibility.
Width: 56 inches wide (55" usable plus 1/2" selvages on both sides). As you look at photo, selvages are to your right and left.
Pattern Repeat: 33" vertical; 13 3/4" horizontal
Manufacturer: Swavelle/Mill Creek. Pattern is Matisse: Bluestone.
Fiber Content: 53% poly; 25% cotton; 25% acrylic.
Care: Professional upholstery cleaning is recommended.
