Uph. Yardage

The following chart will help you calculate yardage for upholstery or slipcover projects.  The chart is based on a standard upholstery width of 54".

The chart is only a guide.  If you have a fabric with a nap  or a stripe or large repeat pattern, you may need additional fabric.  You will also need additional fabric for loose or attached back cushions (rather than a solid back), for arm covers, pillows, skirts, trims, etc.
