Red On Natural Country Toile Drapery Fabric

Specifics:

Sold by the yard.
Burgundy or Maroon printed pattern on natural background. The crayons are "maroon" and "jazzberry jam" from my box of 96 Crayolas. The color of the burgundy in the toile is very close to the color of the jazzberry jam crayon. The ground is darker than in our other toiles - this is almost a light taupe. It reminds me a little of a tea-stained color although there isn't any uneveness of color. Using the Online Auction Color chart, the red comes closest to oac656 but with perhaps just a hint of 580 thrown in. The ground is a little lighter than oac781.
56" wide including 1" selveges on either side so printed portion is 54" wide
Pattern is printed on, not woven in
100% cotton
Midweight drapery fabric - about 7 oz. per square (not running) yard
Protective finish (Scotchgard or similar)
Pattern repeat: 26 7/16" vertical repeat with a half-drop
Has a rustic pattern with scenes depicting rural or country life including a boy fishing from a bridge; a woman and child gathering grain; a couple dancing; boys conversing; sheep (goats?) under a tree.
First quality. We have sold many yards of the toiles and coordinating ticking and checks. They are not brand name but are a beautiful fabric.
Soft hand but with some body - nice fabric to work with.
Care: Drycleaning is recommended; however, the fabric is 100% cotton so it may be washed and dried. Laundering removes the protective finish and, since it is cotton, there will be shrinkage. Pre-washing/Pre-shrinking is recommended if you intend to launder the fabric.
