Specifics:

• Type of Fabric: Mid to heavyweight cotton velvet fabric with a cotton back. About 13 oz. per square (not running) yard. Excellent for draperies, pillows and similar projects. May be used for light to medium use upholstery projects (headboards, upholstered valances, side chairs, antique furniture). Good for heavyweight costumes & clothing. Has a matte (non-shiny) appearance. Has a soft smooth surface with short horizontal "lines" formed by the cut of the velvet -- this gives an added texture to the appearance. Nice hand with some body but still drapes well. Heavy enough so that most light does not penetrate.
• Fiber Content: 100% cotton fabric.
• Color/Pattern: Bradford, Brick Red. The crayon is Crayola's "Brick Red" and is a close match for the color of the fabric.
• Width: 56" wide including 1" selveges on both sides so 54" useable.
