Specifics:

Type of Fabric: Light to Midweight polyester velvet fabric. About 9 oz. per square (not running) yard. Excellent for draperies and pillows. May be used for light use upholstery projects (headboards, upholstered valances, etc.). Good weight for costumes & clothing. Has a matte (non-shiny) appearance. It has a smooth, soft surface but is not deeply plush. This velvet is inherently fire retardant and was originally made for commercial use. We cannot certify any particular rating for fire retardancy. It would be great for drapes or draping walls in a media room because very little (if any) light penetrates.
Fiber Content: 100% Polyester Fabric.
Color/Pattern: Plateau, Brown. Nice shade of chocolate brown. The Crayon is Crayola's "Sepia" and is a close match for the color of the fabric; however, overall, the fabric does not seem to be quite as dark as the Sepia crayon but it is darker than the brown crayon. The "Brown" is our generic description of the color of this fabric. A manufacturer color number was not available.
Width: 56" wide including 1" selveges on both sides so 54" useable.
Length: You are purchasing a 21 2/3 yard roll. We have re-rolled the fabric to check for flaws and have verified the length.
Fabric Care: There were no care tags on the bolts. Professional drapery/upholstery cleaning is recommended. For smaller projects, you could probably wash since it is 100% polyester fabric.
Durability: Excellent for curtains, drapes, clothing.
