Beach Towel

Hope you have had a chance to check out our latest project.  This is a lot of fun and would make a really nice gift.  As you can see, we picked a patriotic theme since the 4th of July is almost here.  We made this for the size of a beach towel, however, you could do a different size in the length and width and make a smaller towel.  You would probably then need to sew all four edges to make it look nice.  You could even do hand towels and wash cloths as well.  The terry cloth is really nice to work with and easy to sew. 

This would make a great gift for a college student, shower gift for a bride-to-be, or even for your own family.  What is nice is that you can personalize it for that person you are making it for.  If you do not like ribbon, you can certainly use whatever type of trim you prefer or even monogram it.  You could sew your towel and just leave it like that.
