Fishing Rod Cover

Good evening.  Hopefully you have had a chance to check out our latest project that was posted on Wednesday.  This is a great project for those young men who want to learn to sew something.  We have shown you the steps on how to make this fishing rod cover but you can alter it to make it easier if you wish.  You can certainly make it a little bigger than what we presented.  For a beginner sewer, that might be an easier way.  We would also suggest before you start with pinning around the fishing rod, that you sew the bottom end 5/8" seam first.  For a beginner sewer, this would more likely be easier for them.  The final result is the same. 

It is a great way to spend some time with your children or grandchildren especially on a rainy day.  Making something with them always makes them feel good.  Boys might find this a little more interesting than girls but it is a great project for them.
