Flat Bed Sheet

What a beautiful day it is for us here.  We posted our new project yesterday which is the flat bed sheet.  We chose to do a queen size but, of course, you will want to measure your mattress so you know what size you need.  Remember for the flat sheet which is usually the cover, you will want it a little longer to tuck under the mattress.  For this we chose to use the percale sheeting which is 102" wide.  This was very easy to just turn over and sew and you have a nice finished edge.   This project is very easy even for a beginner sewer.  It takes approximately an hour to an hour and a half. 

As we noted yesterday, we are going to be doing this in a three week project.  Next week we will be doing the fitted sheet and then the following will be for pillowcases.  By the end of three weeks, you will have a set of bed sheets.  We will continue with more tomorrow.  Have a great afternoon.
