Hanging Hand Towel
Good evening to all of you. Today we are blogging more about the hanging hand towel. This was made for the kitchen but could also be used in a laundry room or bathroom. The terry chenille fabric is wonderful and makes a really nice hand towel. We chose to make this by doing a button and buttonhole. If you do not like this, you can certainly change the pattern and go with Velcro or snaps.
If you are a young person, don't waste your time in front of a t.v. or computer. There is so much more out there for you to learn and sewing is one of them. This project is great for a beginner as it is all very simple. There is nothing difficult about this. As far as buttonholes go, most machines can do them for you but if not, you can always turn to another alternative.
The terry chenille comes in a nice variety of different colors and you should be able to find a color that will blend in any kitchen. Besides hand towels, you can use terry chenille for the back of a blanket or even a bath towel if you desire. Be sure to check out In-Weave in Hawarden, Iowa. They carry a very nice selection of terry chenille in a variety of different colors.
