Little Girl's Backpack

Good evening and this will be the last day that we are blogging on the little girl's backpack.  When making this backpack, we made this in mind for a child of ages 3 to 6.  If you are wanting to do this for an older child, you will definitely have to adjust the size of the backpack along with the straps.  This is not a difficult project and will take you approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours to do depending on your sewing ability.

The pre-quilted pink gingham was very easy to sew with as well as the pre-patchwork print that we used.  We hope that you had time to check this project out.  These two fabrics are great for those of you who like to quilt or you could even make a bath robe, for example, using the pre-quilted gingham.  There are many ideas for you to explore with these two different fabrics.  In-Weave in Hawarden, Iowa, carries both of these.  Be sure to check them out if you are in the area.  We will be back tomorrow.
