Minky Wrap Shawl

Good evening and hope you have checked out our latest project.  This is a very elegant looking wrap shawl and would add the finishing touch to any outfit.  We chose to do the pony minky but you could use any pattern that you want.  The minky comes in a variety of patterns such as safari, reptile, mink and more.  All of these would make a beautiful wrap shawl.  We chose to do this with 2/3 yard but you could go less or more depending on what you want.  This will take approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours to sew depending on your sewing knowledge.

One thing to remember about the minky is that you need to pin, pin, pin.  Especially if you are going to line it like we did.  Since the lining is silky, it is adamant that you pin it or it will shift on you.  If you are a beginner sewer, you would probably want to try something like the minky scarf that we posted earlier.  This would give you some experience in sewing with minky before trying this project.
