Rocking Chair

Hope you are all having a good evening.  This is our last discussion regarding the rocking chair as tomorrow we will be posting a new project.  It may have taken time to replace this cushion on the rocking chair but the result was beautiful.  It now has a useful purpose again and the upholstery we chose brings it back to its era.  This is not something that has to be done overnight.  Take it one step at a time and you can accomplish doing a project like this.

Finding the right kind of upholstery fabric can be difficult.  However, In-Weave in Hawarden, Iowa, carries a huge selection of upholstery and you are bound to find that right pattern and color.   Be sure to stop in if you are in the area.

We hope this has inspired you to try your hand at upholstering.  It really is not that difficult.  You just need to have confidence in yourself.  If you have an old piece of furniture laying around, go for it.
