Sewing
Sewing is a great hobby to have as you can do this whether you are young or older. It is a great way to keep yourself busy. If you have the knowledge of being able to sew, be sure to pass it on to those young family members. Yesterday we blogged about making pillows to decorate your home with. Another item is making a blanket. You can use fleece, minky, terry chenille or flannel. Some require sewing but not all. Tied fleece blankets require no sewing and are a lot of fun to make. Minky blankets are super soft. They require sewing but the end result is that you have a really unique blanket. Lap blankets make really nice gifts and are always welcomed to the person you are giving it to. It makes them feel really special.
