Sewing/Upholstery

We had a beautiful day with some warmer weather.  Tomorrow we will be posting a new project that will hopefully spark some interest.  Until then, we will finish up with a little more of sewing.  Remember it does not take much to learn the basics for sewing.  Following instructions is what it is all about.  Some of us are very talented when it comes to sewing.  You can whip anything out that you want but others need to follow a pattern of instructions.  For the most part, it is pretty simplified.  If it has been a while, try doing something that is very simple and not too complicated.  This should get you going again.

When looking for fabric, be sure to check out In-Weave in Hawarden, Iowa.  They carry a variety of different fabrics from upholstery, drapery, cottons, fleece and minky, sheeting, flannel and so much more.  Be prepared to shop for a while until you find that fabric that is just right for you.
