Terry Chenille/Fleece Blanket

Good evening.  We are posting a new project this evening.  Since we are nearing those chilly days and nights, we are going to show you a blanket using terry chenille and fleece.  This makes for a wonderfully warm blanket and perfect for those football games or just sitting at home.

For this project you will need the following:   2 1/2 yards of Terry Chenille

                                                                 2 1/2 yards of Fleece

                                                                 Thread

You will take your piece of terry chenille and fleece and square them up so they are even.  After you have done this, you will pin right sides together.

Next you will sew around your blanket 5/8" seam and make your corners square.  Be sure to leave approximately a 10" to 12" opening for you will need to invert your blanket.

After you have sewn around your blanket and inverted it, you will pin it and slip stitch the opening shut.

You have a nice warm blanket to snuggle under now for those chilly days and nights.
