Valence

Good evening.  It was definitely cold here this weekend.  Perfect time to do some sewing.  We chose to make our valence a little longer but a standard valence is usually 12 to 14 inches.  Of course, there is no set rule so you can do whatever you feel like as we did.  For a valence or draperies, there are many different types of fabrics that you can use.  So don't be hesitant to try something different or new.  There is no rule that says you can't do what fits your décor or even your budget.
