Valence

Hope you all are having a great day.  We are talking about the valence and how you can make something like this out of jacquard upholstery.  As you can see, we chose to make this a little longer than what most valences are.  We wanted the striking pattern on this fabric to be noticed.  You can certainly change and do whatever size you want. 

This is a very basic pattern and nothing fancy about it.  It does not take a long time and you can do this in approximately an hour.  Even for a beginner, it is simple.  If you would rather choose a different fabric, you may certainly do so.  You could use lace, cotton, twill, toile, sheer or whatever type of fabric you are wanting to accent your windows.
