Wall Hanging

Hope you have all had a great day and a chance to check out what was posted last Wednesday.  We also gave you another idea on Friday what you could do with the wall hanging by turning it into a message or picture board.  These are just a few ideas that will help you to use that extra upholstery fabric and at the same time, give your home a new look.  You can certainly do your own thing and make up your own design.  There are no set rules to doing something like this.  

If you do not have a piece of upholstery fabric laying around, you can certainly find upholstery at In-Weave in Hawarden, Iowa.  They have upholstery in many different patterns and colors.  A jacquard upholstery was used in this project but there are many other types that would work as well.  Of course, each is going to give you a different look depending on the type of upholstery you pick.  You could even use a drapery fabric that is a little heavier and accomplish the same thing.  In-Weave carries drapery fabric as well and a large selection of it.  It is really what you are wanting to achieve for that look.

Being creative is all it takes.  Don't be afraid to try something new.  It makes life very interesting and gives your guests something to comment on when they come to visit.
